Put Your Best Face Forward
Get Ready for the Face to Face Employment & Training Fair

Attend one of these free workshops offered by the Hamilton Public Library, Job Discovery Centres to help you prepare for the Face to Face Job Fair October 15th at the Hamilton Convention Centre.  Learn what to expect from a job fair, how to present yourself to prospective employers, how to prepare your resume, what to wear, and much more! Bring a copy of your resume to the workshop and a Career Information Specialist will review it prior to the job fair.

Make a great impression at this year’s Face to Face Employment & Training Fair! Join the employment team at the Immigrant Women’s Centre for a preparation workshop. Topics will include:  

  • What to expect at the job fair
  • How to best use your time
  • What documents to bring
  • How to prepare for on-the-spot interviews
  • What to wear and how to present yourself
  • What questions to ask employers
  • How to follow up with contacts after the fair
Be sure to bring your resume for review before the fair.
