Prepare yourself for your new job by attending these information sessions during Face to Face, October 15th 2009 These ten-minute-long information sessions will be presented three times, from 10:30 - 11:30, 12:30 - 1:30 pm and 2:30 - 3:30 in the Albion room on the second floor. Session One: You’ve got the power: How to de-stress for success during your job search - Rosita Hall

What would you do if you knew you had the POWER at your fingertips to de-stress for success each and every day? Motivation Sensation Rosita Hall will show you how to unleash that POWER so that you can stay inspired, motivated and activated during your job search.

Session Two: Social Networking: The key to accessing the hidden job market - Dr. John Paul Hatala, Flowork Social Capital Development Network

In order to access the hidden job market we need to know who is in our network and how they can help us. This session will introduce strategies for becoming a better networker through knowing who is in your network, setting career goals, linking network members to goals, and getting people to help you accomplish your goals.

Session Three: Putting your best face forward to land your dream job - Lisa Dennie, The Marrek Group

Session Four: Drowning in debt? Catch a life line. - Nina Lewin, Catholic Family Services of Hamilton

Hear a discussion about credit counseling: what they do, who they see and how they help. Nina will be debunking popular myths about credit counseling.

Nina holds Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Sociology from McMaster University. She worked for a financial institution for more than 11 years. Nina has been a credit counselor and community education coordinator at Catholic Family Services for nine years. www.cfshw.com
